Arround a centuries old Westfrisean farmhouse the Nater family developed the holiday bungalow park 'De Grote Vos', where quietness is self-evident. The park accommodates 24 bungalows with 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms on a wooded site of 6 acres. Modern comfort and traditional architecture create an atmosphere which is unique in the Netherlands. Children can enjoy themselves on the play- grounds, in the wood, in the sand dunes (at 300 m from the park), in which the famous nature reserve 'Zwanewater' is located, and of course at the beach and in the sea. At close distance one can play minigolf, go for a swim in heated pools, and ride a bicycle. A variety of shops are situated closeby. Shopping centres can be found in Schagen, Bergen and Alkmaar. The world famous city of Amsterdam can reached by car within an hour. At night one returns again to the relaxing atmosphere of the small but exclusive bungalow park. Each unit gives all modern comfort, such as hot and cold water, central heating, colour television (cable TV), etc. Pets are allowed at an extra charge of 10%. Six types of accommodation are available: -Type 1 with a capacity of 4 people, 2 bedrooms, a living and a bathroom, 50 m². Classification **** -Type 3A with a capacity of 6-8 people, 4 bedrooms, a living and a bathroom and a toilet, 85 m².
